San Pasqual Valley Herding Club Trial Sponsorship Award

Our current award winner is SPVHC’s very own Barb Easton, who has qualified for the 2023 German Shephard Dog National Championships with not one, not two, but with THREE dogs

The SPVHC sponsorship will help Barb, and dogs Rudy, D and Bruin, with entry fees and travel expenses as they showcase the skills and abilities of SPVHC members at the October GSD National Herding Championship at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO.

Barb, with her dog Titus, started training with Terry Parrish at Action K9 Sports in 2005. Her training ability was quickly evident and her success has been no surprise to Terry, “Barb is a gifted, intuitive Dog Trainer and, to the detriment of fellow competitors, a quick, clear-headed Handler.  Few people would have been able to train Gina (a really tough GSD) and take her to USBCHA Qualifying Open trials in a field with talented Border Collie handlers. Barb is one of the hardest working, most kind, and generous souls I have met and DESERVES the opportunity to take all three of her pups to Nationals!”
